The Infernal Devices: Clockwork Prince by Cassandra Clare - review

Clockwork Prince is the second book of The Infernal Devices. It’s all about the supernatural: shadowhunters, warlocks, werwolves, vampires and simple mundanes.

The first book starts off with a girl going to London, not knowing anyone, and the second book carries her journey on, and ends up being caught in a love triangle (who doesn’t love a love triangle?!) but the way it’s written is so nicely done. I cannot wait to start the third and final book! It’s a young-adult book as some of the scenes can be quite explicit so I wouldn’t recommend it to the younger viewers, but mid-teen and upward, I would definitely recommend!

This series is followed by the well known The Mortal Instruments which is set roughly 100 years ahead, but it too is an awesome series. Both series’ are written beautifully by Cassandra Clare. I give this book five stars!
