The incredibly-decorated homes that are absolutely smashing Christmas

Christmas has officially arrived in Greater Manchester - and here is the proof.

The effort some people have gone to this year to decorate their homes is pretty incredible.

Tens of thousands of fairy lights, giant inflatable Santas, Greatest Showman singing trees - you name it, they've got it.

They certainly won't fail to put a smile on your face, and with displays like this who needs Blackpool Illuminations?

Some of the Christmas displays are just for fun, some to raise money for charities such as The Christie and Derian House Children's Hospice.

Others have a much more touching tale behind them.
