A dog snatched from death won hearts on Britain's Got Talent by performing magic tricks.
Miracle lives up to his name because he was bound for restaurants in Hanoi in Vietnam.
The adorable dog, who was going to be cruelly slaughtered for meat, was loaded onto a truck and crammed into a cage with hundreds of other stolen dogs snatched from the streets in Thailand.
But the truck carrying him was intercepted by the Phuket-based animal welfare charity Soi Dog Foundation, which led to him being adopted by dog lover Amanda Leask from Scotland in 2014.
Amanda, who has more than 40 dogs, told the panel of judges on the ITV1 talent show, including show boss Simon Cowell: “When the rescuer first saw him, she thought he was dead, but when her camera flashed, he opened an eye.
"It was a miracle he was still alive. We brought him back to Scotland and slowly nurtured him back to health.”
Miracle then went on to repay the favour by transforming the life of her son Kyle, who was born with cerebral palsy and autism and turns to the pooch for comfort.
In 2015 he was the winner of the prestigious Friends for Life Award at Crufts.
Leask first fell in love with Miracle after reading about the shocking dog meat trade in Thailand and seeing a photo of him posted online.
After months of trying to track the dog down, she had him flown to Edinburgh.
The panel of judges were moved to tears by the dog’s tale and they applauded the trick, which saw Miracle guess which other four of Amanda's dogs the judges had chosen from more than 40 photos.
"The trade should be stopped," said Simon.
