The incredible Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang stats that will get Arsenal fans very excited

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang had to share the Golden Boot last season.

The Arsenal striker notched 22 goals in the 2018/19 Premier League - the same number as Liverpool duo Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane.

And he got his 2019/20 tally up and running with the only goal of the game on the opening weekend of the season against Newcastle United.

The Gunners face their first home game of the new campaign on Saturday when they welcome Burnley to the Emirates Stadium.

And Aubameyang will be hoping to fill his boots and make an early move to the top of the goalscorer charts.

The Arsenal fans will be hoping to see their team pick up all three points in their first home match of the season, especially given their record against the Clarets.

Arsenal have won nine and drawn one of their ten encounters against Burnley in the Premier League - with nine wins in a row since the first Premier League match between the teams ended in a 1-1 draw.

Incredible Alexandre Lacazette song

The Gunners have scored 16 goals in their five Premier League home matches against Burnley and will be expecting to add more goals and another win to their account on Saturday.

But Aubameyang will be hoping to add to his incredible record too.

According to research completed by Paddy Power Games , the Gabonese striker is officially the Premier League’s 'biggest bully', scoring six goals in three games - at a goals-per-game rate of 2.0 - against his lucky club Burnley.

Only north London rival Harry Kane comes close to having as much of a lucky club, with 11 goals in seven games against Leicester City.

However, for the rest of the Premier League strikers, Arsenal are considered a lucky club by no less than three Premier League goal machines.

Roberto Firmino and Jamie Vardy lead the way from a goals to games perspective, scoring eight goals in eight appearances against the Gunners – averaging a goal a game.

Crystal Palace’s set-piece king, Luka Milivojevic has also found the net on four occasions in just five games against the Gunners.
