The incredible level of consistency that Chelsea will miss when Eden Hazard joins Real Madrid

Eden Hazard will leave Chelsea this summer.

After almost two years of speculation, the Belgian superstar will join Real Madrid during this transfer window.

The two clubs are expected to shake hands on a deal worth around £90million plus add-ons that will take it up to the £130million mark.

Hazard has given some of his best years to the Blues, having joined the club from Lille in 2012.

In that time, the Belgian playmaker has scored 85 Premier League goals and produced 54 assists. He has won the Premier League twice, the FA Cup, the League Cup and the Europa League twice, as well as picking up player of the year and the young player of the year and two goal of the season awards.

It has been an incredible spell on English soil and one that is highlighted by his stunning consistency.

Those honours and awards have come because of his dedication to the cause and the fact he has hardly picked up an injury in seven years.

Hazard has made more than 30 appearances in every single Premier League season that he has been here. And in doing so he is the only attacking midfielder or forward to do so in the history of the Premier League.

Only three other players have done it since the Premier League began in 1992 - Des Walker, Paul Ince and Pepe Reina.

That incredible consistency in being in the starting XI is something that Chelsea will miss when he does leave.
