Mauricio Pochettino had a huge impact on Tottenham on and off the pitch.
The Argentinian was in charge at Spurs for five-and-a-half years before being sacked by chairman Daniel Levy in November last year.
He had overseen five largely successful seasons, turning Tottenham into regular Champions League participants and title challengers on a couple of occasions too.
That was before this season, however, when things turned sour.
He was sacked with Spurs 14th in the Premier League table and having suffered a humiliating 7-2 defeat at the hands of Bayern Munich in the Champions League.
However, his impact at the club was clear for all to see and according to the European Football Index he transformed the club and the value of the squad immensely.
The study, completed by BetVictor, looked at the value of a squad before a manager arrived at the club and how it had risen or fallen since.
The European Football Index placed Tottenham's squad value at £287million when Pochettino arrived, with that figure dramatically increasing to £807.8million by the time he left the club. That works out at £520.8million of growth or a 181% increase.
The biggest increase in the Premier League has come from Eddie Howe at Bournemouth, who inherited a squad worth a meagre £9.2million when he took over in 2012 with the Cherries in League One.
Bournemouth's squad is now valued at £308.5million - a 3,261% increase.
Across Europe’s top leagues only Howe and Sheffield United's Chris Wilder feature in the top 10 managers, with Asier Garitano’s spell at Leganes seeing the biggest increase in squad value, a rise of 8,351% from £602,000 to £51million.
