The impressive Swansea City ratings as star's superb tackle sums him up and subs make stunning impact at Wigan

FREDDIE WOODMAN 7

Sent the wrong way by Kieffer Moore from the penalty spot and was a little nervy thereafter when kicking clear. Soon settled though and didn't have too much to do in the second half.

KYLE NAUGHTON 6

Really up against it in the first half, with Antonee Robinson causing all sorts of problems on Swansea's right. Solid more than spectacular.

MIKE VAN DER HOORN 7

Gifted Wigan the chance to level proceedings with a foul on Chey Dunkley in his own box. Was an important figure in the second half as the hosts got on top, with the Dutchman reading play well in addition to thwarting Moore.

BEN WILMOT 8

Had a real battle on his hands with Moore, but on the whole did reasonably well. Sensational sliding tackle to deny the Welshman late on in the second half.

JAKE BIDWELL 7

Coped relatively well defensively and overlapping in attack impressed. Another solid shift.

GEORGE BYERS 7

Found the going tougher after the restart following a decent showing in the opening 45. Nevertheless, impressed in the middle.

MATT GRIMES 8

Another top display from the captain who had one heck of a battle on his hands in the middle.

NATHAN DYER 7

Started well and netted for the first time this season to put Swansea ahead after 12 minutes. Didn't cause as many problem after that though and was replaced in the second half.

BERSANT CELINA 7

Got himself an assist for Dyer's goal and his darting runs caused Wigan problems, particularly in the second half.

WAYNE ROUTLEDGE 7

Played his part in Swansea's opener and was a threat in the opening half. Shot flew wide in the second half and found himself subbed not long later.

ANDRE AYEW 8 - Star Man

Did so much defensive work after Wigan's equaliser and earned himself a yellow card for protesting the penalty decision. Ran himself ragged.

SUBS

Connor Roberts (for Dyer) - Played further up the pitch, the Welshman almost put his side ahead moments after coming on, but he couldn't reach Celina's through ball. Got the assist for the winner. 7

Sam Surridge (for Routledge) - Scored his fifth goal of the campaign to seal victory. Stunning impact. 7

Jay Fulton (for Celina) - Helped see out the game. N/A
