The impressive stat that puts Bolton Wanderers alongside Manchester United and Man City

Bolton Wanderers have had a sensational second half of the season and rank alongside Manchester United and Man City in one stat which shows just how consistent the Trotters have been.

Ian Evatt's side have soared up the table in recent months and can secure a place in the third tier with a win over Exeter on Saturday.

And their impressive form is backed up by a stat which puts them alongside the best in the country - Man City and Manchester United.

The Premier League top two are among a cluster of sides who have yet to lose back to back games in 2021, and Wanderers are another one.

There are 13 sides in total who have avoided successive defeats this calendar year, with fellow League Two promotion hopefuls Cambridge United, Cheltenham, Morecambe and Tranmere also included.

Champions League hopefuls Chelsea and West Ham, promoted clubs Watford and Hull City and Millwall and Blackpool complete the list.
