The impressive record achieved by Jordan Henderson in Liverpool's win over Watford

Jordan Henderson has become only the fourth player in the club’s history to win 150 Premier League games.

Henderson started for Jurgen Klopp’s side as they maintained their unbeaten start to their Premier League season against Watford at Saturday lunchtime.

Goals in either half from Mohamed Salah handed the Reds a 2-0 win at Anfield - and extended their lead over reigning champions Manchester City to 17 points.

Pep Guardiola’s side, who face Arsenal at the Emirates tomorrow afternoon, are now closer to the relegation zone than Liverpool.

Henderson now joins a list of Liverpool legends who have also achieved the same feat - those club icons being: Steven Gerrard, Sami Hyypia and Jamie Carragher.

But the former Sunderland man has the highest win percentage of the quartet in the top-flight.

Henderson has won 59 percent of his Premier League matches for the Reds, 5 percent more than Hyypia achieved, and eight and seven percent higher than Gerrard and Carragher respectively.

The midfielder joined Liverpool from Sunderland in 2011 for an undisclosed fee, and has since made 255 appearances for the club, as well as skippering them to their sixth European Cup last season.
