The important City Ground change all Nottingham Forest fans need to know about

Nottingham Forest fans are being reminded of an important change at the City Ground.

Saturday's visit of Brentford in the Championship is the first game that the club will not be accepting cash at refreshment kiosks in the concourses.

The Reds ' move to a cashless stadium follows a similar move made by second tier rivals Birmingham City, while Premier League sides including Sheffield United and Leicester City also do not accept cash.

Rugby giants Leicester Tigers have also made their Welford Road ground cashless.

It's a move designed to help tackle queues which plague concourses up and down the Leagues and speed up transactions.

The Bees' trip to the City Ground will be the latest test for Sabri Lamouchi's Reds, who sit in fourth place following Tuesday night's 1-1 draw at Blackburn Rovers .

Brentford, by contrast, sit in 15th place after conceding a late equaliser to Bristol City on Wednesday night.
