The immense Swansea City player ratings as Wayne Routledge fires past Leeds United as defensive duo shine

Here are the Swansea City player ratings from the incredible to take the Swans to the top of the Championship table.

Freddie Woodman 7

Made a decent save to deny Ezgjan Alioski in the first half and helped Swansea slow down the tempo of the game. Also denied Pablo Hernandez in the second half. A few nervy moments but generally impressive against a top side.

Jake Bidwell 8

Got forward more as the game wore on. Linked up well with Bersant Celina on the left.

Joe Rodon 9 - Star Man

Wonderfully composed performance from the young Welshman. Dealt well with Patrick Bamford. Superb display.

Mike van der Hoorn 9

Almost turned into his own net early on but was otherwise impressive on his 100th appearance for the club. Carried the ball out from the back on numerous occasions too. Outstanding.

Connor Roberts 8

Coped relatively well with the likes of Jack Harrison on Swansea's right. Just kept on running. Stunning block to thwart Harrison too. Wonderful impact.

Matt Grimes 8

Such a composed showing from the former Leeds man. Ran the show at times in the middle.

Jay Fulton 8

Did so much dirty work in the middle and got himself booked for his troubles in the second half. Has become a really important player.

Bersant Celina 8

Wonderful solo run up the pitch in the first half went unrewarded in the end. Really came to life in the second half and was a real threat on the left flank.

Yan Dhanda 7

His physical work in the gym is clearly paying off. The No. 10 was impressive in the air and looked generally composed even when Leeds threw everything at the visitors. Encouraging shift. Replaced after the hour mark.

Andre Ayew 7

A few moments of class helped Swansea retain possession while alleviating the pressure on those behind him. Subbed late on.

Borja Baston 7

Hold up play was as good as it has been this season and was unfortunate not to do more damage as he was so often isolated. Did his defensive duties too.

SUBS

Sam Surridge (for Borja) - Very lively when he came on. Went close with a header too. 7

Wayne Routledge (for Dhanda) - What a man. Last-gasp winner at Elland Road. Incredible. 8

George Byers (for Ayew) - Helped see out the game. Booked. 7
