Well, they did it. The House of Representatives impeached President Donald J. Trump.
This came as no surprise. We stand in an age of hypocrisy.
I do not believe the standard has been met for impeaching Trump or — before him — President Barack Obama, who sent pallets of cash to the Iranians to resolve a dispute involving military equipment.

But while the corporate media giggles with delight and our enemies smirk, we recognize that there is work to be done.
The American people stand by Greta Thunberg — and all the children of the world — in wanting to save our enviroment and pass the torch of liberty to the next generation. Proud patriots understand that we must bolster the world’s finest fighting force so as to stand tall against tyranny and terrorism.
The working class agrees that the economy must continue to thrive, as a rising tide lifts all ships, and wages must shoot ever upward. Americans of foresight and honor believe that we must solve our debt crisis. True constitutionalists recognize that we must protect our Bill of Rights, whatever the cost, and realign our balance of power.
They impeached Trump. History will judge. In the meantime, the affairs of state should be handled, progress can be forged and freedom must be advanced.

Let’s have a trial — and get the facts
Trump and the GOP should welcome a long Senate impeachment trial. No more complaining about it being unfair or being denied due process. The GOP forced a long 37-month Impeachment trial of President Clinton. And they got as many witnesses as they could, using video testimony. Now Trump should stop stonewalling and release documents and allow Team Trump to testify under oath.
Let the facts prove innocence or guilt.
