The hundreds of people killed by coronavirus in Greater Manchester are people, not numbers. Here's how you can help us remember them...

In Greater Manchester, dozens of people are losing their lives to coronavirus each and every day.

As the figures for the number of people who have died in our region are released daily, it's easy to forget that behind every one of these numbers is a person.

And with every person taken by this deadly virus, loved ones are left behind.

Here at the Manchester Evening News, we want to make sure every COVID-19 victim is remembered.

We've already published heartfelt tributes to a swimming coach from Bury, a great-great grandad who was well-known as a 'big character' in Salford and a woman from Langley who was so popular 'even the bus drivers knew her'.

We hope that with your help, we will be able to create a collective memorial to continue to honor those that have lost their lives and pay tribute to as many as we can.

So we're asking the family members and friends of coronavirus victims to get in touch with us.

Whether you want to simply pay a tribute, tell us about their life in Manchester or tell us a funny story about them.

Send us a few lines about your loved one including their name, age, where they lived and a picture of them, so we can help put a face to the figures.

We can also include any fundraising pages that you want us to share.

You can do this by completing our form below. Or, you can fill the form in here.
