Hugo Llloris has admitted that he could be open to a new challenge before the end of his career.
The Tottenham goalkeeper has been in north London for seven years after joining from Lyon in 2012.
He's gone on to establish himself as a real fans' favourite after racking up over 300 appearances, many of which have been as the club captain.
However at 32 years of age the Frenchman is starting to plan ahead for the remaining years of his career, and while it's not on his immediate radar, Lloris said that he would be open to a new challenge.
Speaking to France Football, he said: "You have to know how to say stop at the right time, but I'm not against the idea of discovering something new.
"But it can also be the United States for example. I do not know. I always had trouble looking at the medium term. #
"I am more focused on the short term.
"In football, things are changing so fast. We are here, tomorrow, we are elsewhere. You have to be careful in the answers. After that, I can finish there too. We'll see."
Tottenham's fans will be hoping to keep hold of the keeper for a little while longer.
Hugo Lloris has almost three years remaining on his contract, meaning that Spurs hold the cards on his future until at least 2022.
However, whether his loyal service to the club would allow him to move on for a fresh challenge before the end of his deal, remains to be seen.
