The huge vegan food market worth the drive from Liverpool this weekend

For those who fancy something a bit different this weekend, Chester will be the home of a huge outdoor vegan market this Sunday, July 14.

The event will be based at the Town Hall and Library Squares, which is where the city holds its Christmas and farmer's markets, and will welcome more than 40 stalls selling a variety of vegan products.

Independents will be selling a wide range of food available to eat on the day, as well as takeaway items that'll please vegans and non-vegans alike.

Among the food on offer, market-goers can expect to find homemade fudge, vegan cheese, Dutch style twice-fried chips, savoury snacks and more.

In addition to the food stalls, there'll be traders selling clothes, illustrations, luxury beauty products and even poetry.

The event will begin at 10.30am and organisers advise food fans to arrive as early as possible so as not to miss out on the best grub.

As Chester is less than an hour away from Liverpool, this huge event could be well worth the short journey.
