The houses up for auction in Greater Manchester - starting at just £40k

The UK property market enjoyed a mini boom when it reopened following coronavirus lockdown restrictions.

Rightmove said house prices increased by 2.4 percent in July, compared to the period before lockdown.

So if you're thinking it'll be nigh-impossible to be able to purchase a property in recent times, then have no fear as there is another option - auctions.

There's an array of different kinds of houses that get put up for auction on the cheap every month in Greater Manchester. 

They often advertise at slashed prices because they'll need a complete refurb, but there's also some mid-range and upmarket properties that need to be sold quickly with no chain attached.

A few even ask for cash only.

All you need to do is enter a bid online before the auction end date, which comes around quite quickly, but it could lead to a bidding war if there’s a lot of interest.

Here are the latest houses available on auction in and around the Greater Manchester boroughs, starting at just £40,000.

Bury
