The Fuller’s team will launch a unique pop-up in Farringdon this month, selling buffalo milk ice cream topped with fried chicken, chips and hot sauce.
The House of Ice Cream pop-up will open next to the Conductor pub, on National Ice Cream Day (July 17) and will serve up quirky “guilty pleasure” sundaes and boozy floats for the following two weeks.
The menu, which has been put together by Fuller’s Kitchen, includes either ice cream and fries (with a vegan chocolate option made with coconut milk) or ice cream and fried chicken, topped with optional Longbottom & Co. hot sauce. All non-vegan ice cream will be made with buffalo milk, made exclusively for Fuller’s Kitchen by Laverstoke Park Farm in Hampshire.
Sweeter treats can be found in the form of a selection of boozy ice cream floats and ice cream macaroons, as well as a Build-Your-Own ice cream station. Float flavours include tequila topped with blood orange sorbet, pink gin with raspberry sorbet, pornstar martini and raspberry sorbet, and a Bacardi and coke topped with vegan coconut ice cream. The drinks will be priced up to £8.50.
The Build-Your-Own station will allow guests to top their ice cream scoops with oreos, popcorn, gummy bears, popping candy, party rings, smarties, marshmallows and more.
The House of Ice Cream will also have its own DJ playing old-school garage and hip hop music in the evenings.
