A Brecon hotel has been named the best wedding venue in Wales. Peterstone Court Hotel in Llanhamlach, in the heart of the Brecon Beacons National Park, has been awarded the best wedding venue in Wales in the Welsh National Wedding Awards 2022. The awards are voted for by brides and grooms who had their wedding at the venue.
After winning in their region Peterstone Court Hotel faced the other four regional winners to be crowned best in Wales. Providing a friendly face, honest, fresh local food, comfort and a caring team Peterstone Court Hotel is no clichéd country house as the atmosphere is relaxed, and informal, with oak floors, marble fireplaces, and antique and modern furniture amongst leather armchairs set off with fresh flowers and local art.

Describing their location as "pure romance" Peterstone Court Hotel is home to a tree-lined driveway, ten acres of mountains, meadows, natural beauty and indoor and al fresco licensed rooms. There is also a library, dining room, ballroom and a terrace with stunning views of Pen Y Fan mountain.
The Pen Y Fan Function Room is stunningly decorated in total white with grand walls, a fireplace, huge mirrors, a piano and chandeliers as well as plenty of space to seat guests. Peterstone Court Hotel is also home to a five-star restaurant meaning guests are sure to enjoy some delicious food.
There is so much choice with menus including the canape menu, the house menu, a menu for children and informal wedding breakfasts and evening options. If you fancy something different there is the BBQ menu, served day and night, the ultimate street food menu and a spitfire hog roast.
