The horrendous damage left after high-speed city centre car chase

Four men have been arrested after a high-speed police chase in Cardiff city centre.

The four, arrested on suspicion of vehicle taking and possession of drugs with intent to supply, were found hiding in bins by police dogs.

The chase started in Tremorfa, Cardiff, and ended with a crash near the Sainsbury's store on Dumfries Place in Cardiff city centre.

Images released by the roads policing team show a large amount of damage to cars and to the bus shelter near the supermarket.

Vehicles are shown in the pictures on the wrong side of the road.
