The Hit List: How to apply to BBC quiz show filmed in Scotland

BBC show 'The Hit List' is returning for a fifth series and it is filmed a lot closer to home than you may think.

Marvin and Rochelle Humes wil be heading to Pacific Quay in Glasgow to shoot the latest season of the Saturday Night music knowledge show.

First airing on BBC One in 2019, the music-themed show is looking for people to take part - reports Wales Online.

Playing in pairs, contestants are tasked with naming as many songs and artists as possible against the clock.

If you make the final, you could be in for the chance of taking home up to £10,000.

The celebrity special episodes have seen the likes of Martin Kemp and son Roman, Alex Brooker and Ellie Taylor, Chris Packham and step-daughter Megan McCubbin take part, amongst many more.

You may have played along at home but under pressure do you think you know everything there is to know about girl bands, boy bands and Top of the Pops?

If you know your pop from your rock, your country songs from your hip-hop tracks and your classics from your currents, then what are you waiting for?

You need to get your application in by February 27 to be in with a chance of being part of the show.

Here's everything you need to know about the application process:

  • You must be 18 years of age or over to enter
  • Contestant pairs must live together or be in household support bubbles (England and Northern Ireland) or in an extended household group (Scotland and Wales).
  • You must be available for potential filming dates in March 2022 in Glasgow.
