The Hit List by Nikki Urang - review

Nikki Urang, The Hit List

New school. New start.

Sadie Bryant leaves NYC for Los Angeles to escape the gossip surrounding her injury, but most importantly the devastating betrayal of her ex-boyfriend. Sadie arrives at the Los Angeles Conservatory for Arts School all ready to rebuild her career as a solo dancer, although she doesn't realise that memories don't just disappear in a heart beat.

When Sadie arrives not only does she have to learn to trust her new gorgeous dance partner Luke, but try not to fall for him. Attempting to secure a spot in the annual fall showcase which is on the horizon as well as a once in a lifetime trip to London, Sadie battles through her trust issues, not wanting to be left in the same situation as she was with her previous partner: heartbroken. Although Luke is determined to change that.

To add to all of Sadie's problems the Hit List game comes out! A game where boys hook up with different girls to achieve points – it seems that every boy is playing. But who is the one girl every boy wants? You guessed right. Sadie!

This novel teaches to never give up and that trust is key. I wasn't too sure when I started this book as I'm not really into dance but by the first chapter I was captivated. Romance and trust is all what this novel is about. This book was a great read yet the ending is cut short. For that reason I am giving The Hit List by Nikki Urang 4 stars.
