The highest earning baby names revealed in new study with Jake grabbing the top spot

The highest earning baby names have been revealed after a study looked into the names behind the largest paid industries.

After honing in on the highest-paying industries on LinkedIn, such as political organisations, sport and law, certain names are taking home more bacon than others, according to researchers at online language learning app Preply.

So you might be in luck if you've named your baby Jake or Catherine as they found that people called Jake and Catherine are the highest paid earners, typically cashing in an average income of £81,932.

The second highest paying industry was sports, with Joe and Alexandra being the top two names. Famous figures with these names include English footballer Joe Hart and American tennis player Alexandra Stevenson.
