The High Kings, Mundy and Brian Kennedy to play St Patrick's Day gigs online

St Patrick's Day is moving online for the second year in a row due to the coronavirus pandemic, with the main festival programme to be announced very soon.

For lovers of Irish music, though, it's already time to make plans, as a night filled with song has already been announced, to take place on the Mandolin streaming platform.

On Wednesday 17th March, big-name acts including Mundy, The High Kings and Brian Kennedy will take part in the St. Patrick's Day on Mandolin series - five separate live streams in all, kicking off at 6pm.

Dundalk singer-songwriter Niall McNamee will get things started at 6pm, followed by Mundy and his band at 7pm, Americana/roots duo The Remedy Club - with guests Colm Mac Con Iomaire on fiddle and Michelle Mason on cello - at 8pm, and finally both Belfast singer Brian Kennedy and Dublin trad group The High Kings at 9pm.

Fear not if you want to catch all the streams, though - each one will be available for ticket-holders for 72 hours from the time the event goes live.

Tickets for all the streams are available to buy at the following links:
