The hidden Tottenham gems Jose Mourinho can call upon following Son Heung-min setback

Jose Mourinho's Tottenham side will be back in the top four this weekend if they beat Chelsea on Saturday.

Winning in the final minute on Sunday courtesy of Son Heung-min's stoppage-time winner, the Lilywhites are now one point behind their London rivals after the Blues fell to a 2-0 defeat against Manchester United a day later.

Looking well out of the race for a Champions League spot back in November as they trailed the top four by a huge 12 points, the team now have a real chance of finishing above Chelsea providing that they can keep up their recent good form.

Hugo Lloris, who returned to action from his dislocated elbow last month, is now back in the team and he has claimed that their "togetherness" is now coming back at such a crucial time.

The Frenchman also outlined the importance of the squad as another player, who perhaps doesn't know it yet, will now have to step up in Son's absence over the coming weeks.

"In football, having been in the game for 15 years, one of the most important things I think for a player is to adapt," he told the club's matchday programme.

"To adapt to any plans, to any manager or to any team. Every time you meet a new manager, he has his own approach to the game, his own philosophy and so in these moments, you must try to obtain all the information from the manager and try to apply that on the pitch, lead the team.

"We know it is so difficult to come in during the season with your ideas and change things to how you want as there is little time, but the atmosphere is great, it is very positive and all the players are ready to help and to push.

"I can feel the togetherness is getting back inside the squad which is very important. That is something that can help us and can the difference towards the end of the season. Let's see. We're all excited.

"This moment of the year is the most important and the most intense because the difference between winning and losing can be significant. It will be about the details. It will be up to us to turn these details on our side and for that we need every player in the changing room ready to help.

"A season can turn in one way or another with just one detail, one moment. That's what I mean by everyone having to be ready because one player can be decisive. Maybe that player doesn't know at this moment, but he is going to be important for the team.

"It belongs to us players to keep the motivation up, to lead the team. We know the manager and the coaching staff will look to provide us with the best tools and then we have to put in the right energy."
