The hidden Leeds rooftop bar with incredible views which can only be accessed with a secret code

A rooftop bar which can only be accessed by a secret code is reopening in Leeds next week.

Prime Minister Boris Johnson has confirmed beer gardens, along with non-essential shops, can open from next week as the lockdown rules will be relaxed as planned on April 12 as the next phase of the roadmap kicks in.

The Rooftop Bar at East Parade, on top of 10-12 East Parade, is one of the city’s most popular summer venues.

With its unique rooftop bar and incredible views, the new-look venue has confirmed that it will reopen on Wednesday, April 14 with a new covered seating area and sun-drenched terrace.

Its DJ nights are set to return, whilst the team will be offering up new cocktails and beers. There are also plans to start serving food.

However, if you're planning to go down to the bar, you better be prepared!

The only way to enter is via a unique daily code revealed on the East Parade Rooftop Instagram.

The entrance can be located on Park Cross Street, where you’ll be guided up to the rooftop.

Helen Gibbons, Head of Operations of The Rooftop said: "I’m so pleased to be bringing back The Rooftop this summer, which will be the perfect outdoor meeting place after what we’ve all been through for the past year.

"We’ll have the best drinks flowing while you enjoy the sun and the views - we can’t wait to see you all again."
