The Heckle 12: Byte-sized jokes

Getting to the point ... Will Adamsdale. Photograph: Murdo MacLeod

We come at you today from among the hubbub of the Spiegeltent in Edinburgh University's normally docile George Square.

The tables are turned on today's Heckle as I submit to an interview at the hands of "hospital radio DJ" Ivan Brackenbury. The spoof host of the Disease Hour has been delighting audiences (myself included) with his afternoon show at the Pleasance. Meanwhile, Lucy spends a penny at the Umbrella Birds' show WC - held in a fully functioning portaloo. (I manage to resist the pun "Porter-loo" - oh, curses, I've ruined it now!)

Plus, we have the always-intriguing Perrier-winner Will Adamsdale on hand to run us through his latest offering, The Human Computer. A show about technophobia? On a podcast? Well, why not?
