
In 2016, the Swiss NGO Public Eye analysed the sulphur content of the fuel being sold in eight West African countries, including Ivory Coast. The results were startling: they revealed sulphur levels hundreds of times higher than the permitted limit in Europe. Two years on, has the situation improved? Our Ivory Coast correspondents went to find out.
