The trailer for the hotly-anticipated third series of The Handmaid's Tale has dropped - and it looks like revolution is stirring in Gilead.
The dystopian drama, based on the novel by Margaret Atwood, will return to streaming service Hulu on June 5.
The last series - spoiler alert, for anyone who's yet to catch up - saw June/Offred, played by Mad Men star Elisabeth Moss, on the brink of escaping the totalitarian regime with her baby, Holly.
But at the last minute she changed her mind, sending the infant to safety without her and returning the way she came.
The new trailer, shared by Hulu today, shows her back in the house of her master Commander Waterford (Joseph Fiennes) and striking up an unlikely alliance with his wife Serena Joy (Yvonne Strahovski).
"If I’m going to change things, I’m going to need allies," June confides in a voiceover.
"As Mrs Waterford, you have influence."
"Up to a point," Serena replies.
June responds: "So move the point."
Will Serena join the resistance?
That's just one of the questions raised by the dramatic trailer, which also includes shots of the Waterfords' house on fire, Emily (Alexis Bledel) appearing to make it to safety with Holly, and June kneeling by her other daughter Hannah's bed.
It also gives us a glimpse of Aunt Lydia (Ann Dowd), still alive after surviving Emily's attack on her in season two, the mysterious Commander Joseph Lawrence (Bradley Whitford), founder of the Colonies and Emily's unlikely saviour, and June's secret lover Nick (Max Minghella).
A UK release date has yet to be confirmed for the new series but it usually airs on Channel 4 a few weeks after its Hulu premiere.
