The Halloween weather forecast for where you live in Wales

Spirits may be a little damper than usual this Halloween as wet weather threatens to spoil the fun of trick-or-treaters.

After a cloudy and murky day across the country, conditions are forecast to get worse later in the day.

According to the Met Office: "More rain will return from the west in the early evening, persisting for most of the night."

Across much of Wales, dry spells aren't expected until dawn, meaning most trick-or-treaters should pack a brolly or plan to get wet.

However, a few areas will see some reprieve in the late evening.

The best time to head out in Cardiff looks to be between 7pm and 9pm, as the chances for rain are slashed from 50% to 20%.

Swansea won't fare quite as well, with rain expected from 6pm onward, except for a slight break around 8pm.

Meanwhile, in Builth Wells, those roaming the streets between 7pm and 9pm should dodge the worst of the weather.
