Christmas is less than two months way, meaning many people will be putting in their holiday requests for the festive break.
But before you do, it might be worth looking into if this Christmas hack could be for you.
By using public holidays on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day, you can maximise the length of continual holiday this year.
The trick can get people either 12 days off in a row or 16, depending on how much holiday they have left to take.
A 12-day break for five days of leave
- Days to take as holiday: 23, 24, 27, 30, 31
Your Christmas holiday: December 21 to January 2.
A 16-day break for seven days of leave
- Days to take as holiday: 23, 24, 27, 30, 31, 2, 3
- Your Christmas holiday: December 21 to January 5.
