The Gum Ball is back and ready to rock

Hunter Valley festival The Gum Ball is back with an exciting musical and cultural line-up.

The three-day festival at Dashville, near Lower Belford, showcases some of the best Australian musical acts in an intimate bushland setting alongside comedy acts, pro-skateboarding, markets and workshops.

The connection between community and culture will again be highlighted, with homage paid to the traditional owners of the land, the Wonnarua, in a one-off artwork by local Indigenous artist Debbie Becker.

The musical line-up incudes Harts Plays Hendrix, The Beautiful Girls, Cash Savage and The Last Drinks, Emma Donovan and The Putbacks, Even, Melody Pool, Lost Ragas, Cousin Tony's New Firebird, iOTA, King Stingray, Coda Chroma, Tori Forsyth, Murray Cook's Soul Movers, Lachlan X. Morris, Jones The Cat, Palomino, Buddy Dingo, Eagle Eye Jones, The Barren Spinster, The Stained Daisies, Dave Wells, Burger Joint, Johnston City, Dareen D.C. Cross and Lost and Big Red Cap.

The Gum Ball runs from 2pm on Friday, April 16, to noon on Sunday, April 18. Limited tickets are on sale now through Humanitix, with booking fees going to help Nutrition for Aussie School Kids.
