The Guardian has been honoured with three awards at the Foreign Press Association (FPA) Media Awards. The FPA Media Awards, now in their eighteenth year, honour excellence in journalism.
The Guardian long read Why we fell for clean eating - which looks into the Instagrammable food movement and the dangers around ‘clean eating’ - was awarded food story of the year.
Daniel Taylor’s exposés of child abuse in football, which uncovered of a series of child abuse scandals and coverups in the British football industry, was awarded sports story of the year. Taylor also took home the journalist of the year award.
