The Guardian wins three AIB Awards

The Guardian has been honoured with three awards at this year’s Association for International Broadcasting (AIB) awards for factual television, radio and online productions.

The AIB is a non-profit, non-government, industry association founded in 1993 and its awards reward factual programme makers from across the world.

The Guardian’s first virtual reality experience, ‘6x9: A virtual experience of solitary confinement’ was the winner in the online category.

‘Brussels divided: Molenbeek after the terrorist attacks’ came top in the short form journalism category.

‘The martial arts fighter with Down’s syndrome battling for the right to fight’ was highly commended by judges in the short feature category.
