On October 8-10 the Guardian presents Culture Collide Festival - a quintessential music, arts, and industry experience celebrating creative curiosity at multiple venues across downtown Los Angeles.

Kicking off three days of music discovery are Ladyhawke, disco-rock project The Juan Maclean and Melbourne’s resident party crew Northeast Party House, alongside over 40-plus international bands.

We’re super excited to announce the Guardian’s showcase of local LA bands including Koreatown Oddity, The Vim Dicta, Nicky Blitz and the Los Angeles Police Department.

The festival will play host to the Independent Label Market featuring over 20 record labels at the Taix in Silverlake.
