Solutions
1:A - This tweet was the inspiration for this quiz – it's an absolute masterpiece of unintentional social media engagement. Matt got just 181 retweets but more than 4,500 replies mocking him. A ratio of the gods , 2:B - Farage couldn't resist a golf pun. 'This is golfing action!' is, of course, Alan Partridge from The Day Today, 3:A - This is not the first time Corbyn has posted his haircare routine on social media. If he doesn't get to be PM, maybe he could consider being an Instagram influencer, 4:C - A disappointing pun-free effort here from Richard Burgon. He's basically made a dog's breakfast of this tweet, etc etc, 5:A - A safe bet here – Johnson has tweeted the phrase 'get Brexit done' more than 70 times in December alone. Although referring to the mega-viral Ellen DeGeneres Oscars selfie would have got Johnson some internet brownie points, 6:C - We're not entirely convinced that James Cleverly would be our first port of call for IT and technical advice, but what do we know?, 7:B - Sturgeon was extolling the virtues of Arbroath's greatest export, 8:A - Mercer did thank someone for giving them all tea, but in this particular tweet he focused on a different T-word. We hope nobody comments about this on the Plymouth Herald website , 9:C - It has put years on all of us, Keir. It has put years on all of us, 10:B - Swinson was indeed very colour coordinated for an appearance on BBC Breakfast, 11:A - Totally boring and factual and he missed a golden opportunity with that prominent Ghostbusters logo on the lad in the middle, 12:C - Robin Hood is either an amazing redistributive anti-establishment hero or a domestic terrorist, depending on whether you are with the robber barons or not. So Jeremy Corbyn posing in front of a statue of him was a gift to political writers everywhere, 13:A - Truss and the gang were heading to the Conservative manifesto launch. Definitely a missed chance to make a joke about the Boris Johnson obsession with making toy buses for SEO purposes, 14:C - Schofield and Willoughby were criticised on social media for posing for a selfie with the PM rather than holding him to stronger account during their interview, 15:A - Rees-Mogg has been full of witticisms on Twitter, even if the party has been keeping him off the airwaves after his offensive Grenfell Tower comments at the start of the campaign, 16:B - Jeremy Corbyn famously once dressed up as a mysterious 'Secret Santa' on an episode of the BBC's Daily Politics
