The Gruffalo and Gruffalo's Child with live orchestra coming to Liverpool Philharmonic Hall

An exciting double bill is heading to the Liverpool Philharmonic Hall this September - and it’s perfect for little ones.

The Gruffalo and The Gruffalo’s Child will screen at the hall on Saturday, 14 September with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra performing Renè Aubry’s stunning score live alongside it.

Families can enjoy the special concert, as Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler’s famous characters come to life on screen.

A Peppa Pig live show is coming to Merseyside's St Helens Theatre Royal

The Gruffalo tells the story of Mouse, who sets out on a daring adventure through the deep dark wood, only to be confronted by hungry animals along his way - and they all think Mouse looks tasty.

While, The Gruffalo’s Child sees Gruffalo’s daughter ignore her father’s warnings, setting off on a search for the Big Bad Mouse one wild and windy night.

The concert will last around 90 minutes, including an interval.

Tickets for The Gruffalo and The Gruffalo’s Child: Film with Live Orchestra go on sale on Monday, June 24 at 10am.

Prices start from £12.
