The English Football League are said to have reached a huge, “ground-breaking” deal with Sky Sports to allow clubs in all three divisions to stream every match for the coming season, live on their websites.
Nottingham Forest will get their Championship campaign underway next month, with a trip to QPR first up, on September 12.
As with the final nine games of last term, 2020/21 will begin with matches taking place behind closed doors.

But the Daily Mail say the deal with Sky will allow fans to watch the action online - including Saturday 3pm kick-offs for the first time..
It is said this will involve a fee of around £10 for the more casual supporter, while season ticket holders would be allowed to watch home fixtures for free.
It is hoped the money raised will help to make up for the loss of matchday revenue due to the coronavirus crisis.
The Mail report that while Sky Sports pay £119m a year for exclusive rights to Championship, League One, League Two and Carabao Cup games, they do have sympathy for clubs who have lost out as a result of the pandemic.
Sky will allow every club to stream online their games which were scheduled to be televised without the club having to pay the broadcasting company, as long as the majority of supporters are still not allowed in stadiums.
The plan will be regularly reviewed, but is likely to be in place until the Government allows a 50 percent occupancy rate at grounds.
Fans are currently expected to return in October, but that is likely to be capped at around 30 percent of capacity initially.
