'The greatest football club in the world' - Fans react as Bristol City find yet another way to win

As assistant head coach Dean Holden revealed this week, problem solving forms a significant part of Lee Johnson's training programmes at Bristol City .

Putting players in different potential matchday scenarios and trying to get them to figure their way to a solution which can then be replicated during a 90 minutes somewhere in the future.

It's an attribute they are displaying with each passing performance but also something that is increasingly an aspect of what Johnson and his coaching staff are performing season on season.

After a summer of considerable upheaval in which Johnson lost his best player from last season in Adam Webster, was unable to replace him and then didn't sign a striker until the last hour of the transfer window, City appeared a team destined to plateau.

Factor in crushing injuries in the opening weeks of the season to Jay Dasilva, new signing Adam Nagy and club captain Bailey Wright, and the puzzles continue to add up for Johnson to solve.

He was hit with another conundrum against Hull as Tomas Kalas left the field injured, joining a packed treatment room but still the head coach finds answers and still his team keep winning.
