The Greater Manchester local council elections 2021 results in full - borough by borough

Voters in Greater Manchester have took to the polls in the local council elections.

The election on Thursday, May 6 came after being postponed last year due to coronavirus.

It allowed the people in Bury, Bolton, Oldham, Manchester, Rochdale, Salford, Stockport, Tameside, Trafford and Wigan to have a say on who they think should run their local public services.

This includes things such as schools, libraries, and bin collections.

Stations were open from 7am until 10pm, with the count taking place at different times across the region.

Some boroughs commenced counting on Thursday night, some started on Friday, resulting in some boroughs finding out the result sooner than others.
