The Great Chefs Dinner: Michel Roux Jr and Andrew Wong to lead six-course charity supper

Michelin-starred chefs Michel Roux Jr and Andrew Wong are among the culinary talents teaming up for a six-course charity dinner at The Langham hotel next month.

Returning to London for its fourth year, The Great Chefs Dinner will see six chefs each cook a course on February 4, with the night raising money for charity DEBRA.

Roux Jr will host the evening at his recently revamped Roux at the Landau restaurant, situated in the luxury hotel.

Wong will join him to cook a main course, featuring both seared scallop cheung fun, and crispy Cantonese pork belly with mustard, honey and liquorice soy.

Following the dish, Roux Jr will serve foie gras-stuffed quail with Jerusalem artichoke, pear and black truffle.

Roux Jr currently holds two Michelin stars at London icon Le Gavroche, while Andrew Wong holds one star for his restaurant A. Wong in Victoria, and last year received a five star review from Evening Standard food critic Fay Maschler for his newest restaurant Kym's.

The pair will be joined by the Langham's executive chef Chris King and executive pastry chef Andrew Gravett, as well as royal chef Mark Flanagan MVO, and Gianluca Fusto, the highly regarded Italian chocolatier.

All proceeds from the night will go towards DEBRA, a national charity that supports people in the UK suffering with Epidermolysis Bullosa, a life-threatening skin condition.

Tickets cost £345. For more information and tickets, visit debra.org.uk
