It was expected to be a dream move for Eden Hazard but things have quickly become a nightmare in Madrid.
The Belgian international completed his move to Real Madrid for a fee that could rise to £150million, but his career at the Santiago Bernabeu hasn't got off to the best start.
After suffering with a hamstring injury early in the season, Hazard has been limited to just four appearances for his new club and is yet to register a goal or an assist.
Zinedine Zidane has admitted that it hasn't been the best of starts to the season, but speaking this week he backed the Belgian to find his form moving forward.
He said: "We know the player we have. He will respond at any time. He did in Seville. Everyone expects more from him and he knows that.
"But we're with him and he's with us. You have to go game by game and he is going to be the player we want him to be.“This type of player is prepared for these matches. I have no doubt about Hazard or the rest of the players.
“We are thinking about an outing in a great performance, we know that it will be difficult and that we will have to do things right from the first minute to the last. We need to be prepared.”
A clash against Atletico Madrid would have been the perfect opportunity to show what he's capable of, but unfortunately for him he was largely ineffective in a 0-0 draw.
