The Grammy's 2020 red carpet fashion was all about taking risks, with Ariana Grande, Lizzo and Chrissy Teigen leading the pack

The Grammy Awards is not only music's night, but it also serves as a chance for the hottest hit-makers to showcase their sartorial prowess in front of the world.

And last night's 62nd ceremony held at LA's Staples Centre was no different, with plenty of looks which pushed fashion boundaries.

The most eye-catching look of the evening was worn by 26-year-old Ariana Grande, who effused BDE (Big Dress Energy) in two looks.

She arrived to the ceremony in a dusty blue tulle Giambattista Valli gown before a quick change into another elegant floor-length look.

Also on the best-dressed list was Lizzo, who oozed Old Hollywood chic in a glamorous Atelier Versace gown and fur stole, while Chrissy Teigen, who accompanied her husband John Legend to the event, also commanded attention in a tangerine-hued Yanina Couture dress.

Dua Lipa opted for a slinky white co-ord by Alexander Wang, which she accentuated with high-voltage blue eyeshadow and a retro up 'do.

The annual music event, which celebrates the best in the business, has seen some iconic looks grace its carpet over the years.

Among last year's most eye-catching ensembles was Cardi B's, where she opted to wear a vintage Mugler "oyster" dress.
