In 2000, Jerry Hall first took on the role of the seductive Mrs Robinson in coming–of–age story The Graduate. She stunned audiences as she stepped out of the white bathrobe, appearing naked for 20 seconds in the dim Gielgud Theatre light in London. Since then, the popular production has travelled from London to the US and Australia.
Now she reprises her role for a final season. She joins Tim Dashwood, who stars as the young, wide-eyed Benjamin Braddock, who is a little dazed after graduating from college.
Adapted from the Oscar–winning film, the stage show is set against a roll call of memorable sixties songs, including The Beach Boys’ Wouldn’t it be Nice, The Mamas and the Papas’ California Dreamin’ and of course, Simon & Garfunkel’s Mrs Robinson.
