'The Good Wife' actresses offer differing views on rumored feud

Oct. 05--It appears the long-rumored feud between longtime "Good Wife" co-stars Julianna Margulies and Archie Panjabi has moved online.

Margulies, who plays Chicago attorney Alicia Florrick, told New York magazine Sunday that there is no feud with Panjabi, who portrayed investigator Kalinda Sharma through last season. The rumor of strife gained traction earlier this year after it was revealed that Margulies and Panjabi appeared to have filmed Panjabi's finale separately.

"Right, I've heard about (the feud). Who says that? It's totally gossip," Margulies said. "I heard that question had been asked to (co-creator) Robert King. There's no story there, sorry. ... I actually had heard (that rumor) and I feel that it has been talked about and answered. I feel people just like to have gossip or make something into something that isn't there. There's no animosity on my part."

Margulies, 49, defended the use of the filming of their onscreen reunion by saying Panjabi, 43, was working on another show, "The Fall," at the time of shooting.

But Panjabi shot this statement down on Twitter Monday morning, writing, "@TheFallTV was not even in production at that time and I was in New York ready to film the scene!"

"The Good Wife," which is filmed in New York, returned Sunday for its seventh season on CBS.
