The Good Place is coming to terrestrial TV

Netflix

The Good Place is finally going to be broadcast in the UK.

Channel 4 has announced that the acclaimed sitcom will debut on E4 later this year, on the 13 December at 9pm.

The series has previously only been available to Netflix subscribers, with the streaming service hosting the first two seasons as well as the third which it's currently releasing weekly.

The Good Place follows four deceased humans – played by Kristen Bell, William Jackson Harper, Jameela Jamil, and Manny Jacinto – as they traverse the afterlife.

Ted Danson plays an angelic deity who controls their heaven-like world, known as The Good Place. However, everything is not as it seems.

Created by Parks and Recreation‘s Michael Shur, the show originally aired in the US on the network NBC. It also stars D’Arcy Carden as the robotic guide Janet, Adam Scott as the Good Place resident Trevor, and Maya Rudolph as Judge Hydrogen.
