A popular golf club in the Swansea Valley has closed temporarily after being submerged in water.
Mond Valley Golf Club, Clydach, is situated just above River Tawe, which burst its banks during Storm Dennis.
Water saturated the course and reached around five foot deep in the club's popular function room.
According to the club's secretary, Huw Rees, the amount of water on the course has improved but has left considerable damage.
Currently the venue is without electricity and will be closed until further notice.
"The course has improved cosmetically because the river went down, letting the water out," he said.
"Western Power team has been at the club all day trying to reconnect our electricity.
"The biggest problem we've had is that the water reached about five foot on the bottom floor of our club."
According to Mr Rees, health and safety is the club's main priority. He said it needs to reach a high standard before it can reopen.
"Our main function room with the kitchen is upstairs luckily," he said.
"We have a five-star hygiene rating and now the food in our cellar and storage rooms has all got to be binned.
"There's a team of people there now, members of staff all doing their bit to clean up the mess and salvaging what we can - a lot of it will have to go.
"At the moment we are closed indefinitely."
