'The GOAT!' - Manchester United fans go wild after late Scott McTominay winner vs Omonia Nicosia

Scott McTominay spared Manchester United's blushes, netting a 93rd-minute winner to help them seal a 1-0 win over Omonia Nicosia in the Europa League at Old Trafford on Thursday night.

After peppering the Omonia goal from the very first whistle, United found a way past an inspired Francis Uzoho in the Cypriots' goal with their 33rd attempt. McTominay, who had stepped off the bench just 11 minutes earlier, drilled the ball home from around 10 yards out after Jadon Sancho's deflected cross found its way into his path.

The Scotland international, who is suspended for Sunday's Premier League clash with Newcastle United, made no mistake to ensure Erik ten Hag's side snatched all three points, keeping their hopes of winning Group E alive. The Reds remain three points behind current table-toppers Real Sociedad, who beat Sheriff Tiraspol 3-0.

Below, MEN Sport has taken a close look at what they had to say.
