Aaron Greene will hit the goal trail sooner rather than later, according to Shamrock Rovers boss Stephen Bradley.
Striker Greene has just two league goals this season but his all round contribution to the league leaders has been vital.
Bradley feels Greene should have scored in Friday’s 2-1 win over Waterford that maintained their eight-point lead at the top.
But he said: “Aaron brings a lot more to us than that. Anyone who has played against him will say that.
“Aaron is very, very clever. His movement is very good - he gets the game. He takes up positions which are really hard for defenders to mark.
“And when he does that he creates space for others. He's a very important player for us and I believe the goals will come because he's getting into good positions.”
