The glowing Mesut Ozil verdict Unai Emery can't ignore as Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang rates poorly

Arsenal fans have picked out Mesut Ozil as the best performer in the club's Premier League draw against Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday.

The midfielder had forced his way back into the team and made his first Premier League appearance since September, playing the full 90 minutes of the 1-1 draw at the Emirates Stadium.

Ozil hadn't even made a Premier League squad since the 3-2 win over Aston Villa, where he was an unused substitute, but an impressive performance in the thrilling 5-5 Carabao Cup draw against Liverpool left manager Unai Emery with no choice but to give the midfielder another chance.

Football.london asked Gunners' fans to rate the players' performances vs Wolves, with the German coming out on top with an average rating of 8.7.

Goalkeeper Bernd Leno and full back Kieran Tierney were just behind with a score of 8.3.

Arsenal's goal was unsurprisingly scored by captain for the day, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

However, despite the goal, the Gabon international was rated as one of the worst performing Arsenal players by fans, with a score of 5.7, only defender Sokratis and late substitutes Bukayo Saka and Sead Kolasinac rated lower.
