The Glaswegian Apprentice candidate hoping to impress Lord Alan Sugar

A Glaswegian entrepreneur is aiming to impress Lord Alan Sugar on the new series of BBC's The Apprentice.

Reece Donnelly will appear on the new season of the competition show on BBC, reports the Daily Record. Many will already be aware of Reece from social media, or his successful theatre school.

The 25-year-old has been acting since he was six years old, and has had a few big gigs over the years. He has appeared in BBC drama Waterloo Road, an S1 jobs advert, and has also voiced acted in Nickelodeon.

However, this week is his biggest break as a grown man, as the South Lanarkshire entrepreneur will join 17 other candidates to impress Lord Sugar in the boardroom.

Back in 2017, Reece founded the Theatre School of Scotland and Theatre College of Scotland. This made him the youngest college owner in the UK.

It has been a fantastic five years since then, with many of his students landing roles with big companies like Disney, BBC, CBeebies, CBBC and Netflix.

His work as an actor has seen him do various community drama projects with the organisations. These include a stint in Barlinnie Prison in partnership with The Citizens Theatre, and also Kibble Secure Centre in partnership with West College Scotland.

Reece, who is also the director of KR Management, lives well and boasts a following of almost 9,000 on Instagram. He shares photos of his nights out and holidays in luxury places like Dubai and New York.

In 2018 Reece made The Sunday Mail Young Scot Awards final. Originally from Cambuslang, Reece attended Trinity High School and also appeared on Britain's Got Talent audition stages at the age of 15.

He graduated from the University of Sunderland with a BA(Hons) in Drama. Then, at just 20-years-old, Reece set up the theatre school based in Glasgow's city centre in 2017.

The Apprentice will return to our screens on Thursday, January 5. The brand new series will see more candidates and tasks overseas, setting it up to be the best yet.
